Biden names Gautam Rana US envoy to Slovakia

WASHINGTON DC (Diya TV) — U.S. President Joe Biden will nominate diplomat Gautam Rana as the new U.S. Ambassador to Slovakia. He’s a career member of the Senior Foreign Service and is currently Deputy Chief of Mission of the U.S. Embassy in Algeria. Rana was Director for Afghanistan and Pakistan on the National Security Council staff.
Star Bollywood singer Krishnakumar Kunnath, popularly known as KK, died of a suspected heart attack at the age of 53 after a concert prompting a flood of tributes from fans including Indian prime minister Narendra Modi. The Prime Minister said “his songs reflected a wide range of emotions and struck a chord with people of all age groups,”
