FREMONT, Calif. (Diya TV) — Police in Fremont California say a 7-year-old Indian American child riding a bicycle was killed after being struck by a vehicle.
The driver stopped and remained on scene as officers arrived. It’s unclear what led up to this collision. Neighbors say they’ve complained to the city about speeding cars in this area and have also asked for stop signs and speed bumps on the street.
The U.S. vehemently denies it singles out India on human rights violations. The sharp response comes after a reporter asked how the U.S. continues to do business with India, implying Prime Minister Narendra Modi is responsible for serious “human rights abuses” and targeting of Muslims. Biden and Modi are scheduled to meet on the sidelines of the Quad summit this week.
A recent survey in China shows the U.S. and India are the most negatively perceived countries in the communist nation, while Russia is viewed in the most positive light.
