Murthy: be aware of vaccine misinformation

WASHINGTON DC (Diya TV) — The Centers for Disease Control says 9 out of 10 US children remain unvaccinated as the highly contagious delta variant continues to spread. Health officials are urging Anyone eligible 12 years of age and older to get the vaccine. US Surgeon General Vivek Murthy is also issuing another warning about all the vaccine misinformation online.

Los Angeles is bringing back the indoor mask mandate in public spaces his weekend, regardless of vaccination status, amid an alarming rise in Covid-19 cases driven by the Delta variant. The news sent a chill through the state just one month into California’s long-awaited reopening. And it could prompt other local health officials to follow suit.

The U.S. Senate confirmed Indian American Seema Nanda to the U.S. Department of Labor as the solicitor.  Most recently The Indian American was also the chief executive officer of the Democratic National Committee and worked in the Obama administration.
