Bloomberg drops out after poor ‘Super Tuesday’ performance

NEW YORK (Diya TV) — $500 million in political advertising wasn’t enough for Michael Bloomberg to make a dent during ‘Super Tuesday,’ so he is dropping out of the Presidential race and throwing his support towards Joe Biden. Biden’s stellar showing over the past week muted Bernie Sanders’ fast start. So we effectively now have a two man race, though Elizabeth Warren and Tulsi Gabbard are still technically in the Democratic mix.
Former Theranos founder and CEO Elizabeth Holmes and former COO of the infamous blood testing firm, Ramesh ‘Sunny’ Balwani, received a bit of a legal reprieve when a federal judge in California partially dismissed four charges against them, narrowing the case brought forth by the Department of Justice.
And former General Electric CEO Jack Welch, who led GE through 20 years of its greatest financial success, died at age 84. He was considered one of the top CEO’s of the century, increasing GE’s market value from $14 billion to more than $400 billion over those 20 years. And in recent years, he was very bullish on India in this century.
