Trump State visit to India likely in February

NEW DELHI (Diya TV)  — New Delhi and Washington are in touch to work out dates for a state visit by President Trump to India. It could happen as soon as next month. Discussions around India’s energy security is expected to top the agenda.

The Senate was sworn in as jurors in the impeachment trial of President Trump on the same day the nonpartisan Government Accountability Office said the Trump administration violated federal law by withholding Congress-approved security aid for Ukraine.

When asked about India’s new Citizenship Amendment Act, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella said “what is happening is sad.” It was a statement many construed as taking a stand against the bill. But once his comment went viral, Microsoft released a statement clarifying Nadella’s thoughts, that some now believe is an endorsement of the act.

The U.S. Census is trying to get the word for everyone in the U.S. to participate in helping America get an accurate count of our population. But in New York City, this campaign to reach out to the Bangla community left folks scratching their heads with this confusing message.
